LGBTQIA+ Affirming and Neuro-inclusive Counselling in Folkestone & Online Across the UK

I’m Georgia. I’m a qualified and BACP-registered counsellor offering LGBTQIA+ affirming counselling in Folkestone, across Kent, and online across the UK. I provide a warm, confidential and non-judgemental space where you can explore whatever feels difficult, confusing or overwhelming in your life.

Are you looking for a space where you can feel trust and connection while you proccess your feelings, talk things through or figure out your next steps? If so, I might be the right therapist for you.

I understand how important it is to feel genuinely seen, respected and safe in therapy. You won’t need to explain or justify your identity here. My practice is inclusive and trauma-informed, and I can provide LGBTQIA+ affirming therapy for anxiety, depression, emotional distress, or navigating life transitions and changes.

I might also be the right therapist for you if you live with more complex and enduring mental health conditions. I have supported clients living with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD/EUPD), Bipolar Disorder, or a history of psychosis, as well as those who may have experienced long-term emotional distress or repeated crises. I offer consistent, relational support and can work collaboratively alongside other services where appropriate. I hope that therapy with me can be a space to better understand your patterns, manage emotional intensity, and build greater stability and self-compassion for yourself.

I provide counselling for anxiety, depression and trauma in Folkestone, as well as supporting you to explore your gender identity, coming out, neurodivergence, burnout, or relationship difficulties. My aim is not to fix you, but to help you feel more grounded, understood, and empowered in your own life.

Whether you are seeking in-person LGBTQ+ counselling in Folkestone, or prefer online sessions, I offer a calm and affirming space to begin. I understand that reaching out can feel daunting, which is why I offer a free 20-minute introductory call so you can ask questions and see whether working together feels right.

If you’re looking for a compassionate, LGBTQIA+ affirming counsellor in Folkestone who can support both everyday struggles and more complex emotional experiences, I would be glad to hear from you.

I have varied experience:

  • Working with LGBTQIA+ specific experiences: gender identity, coming out, navigating queer relationships and processing experiences of discrimination and internalised homophobia/transphobia

  • Working with neurodivergence from a strengths-based, non pathologising lens

  • Working with individuals with a diagnosis/traits asssociated with Borderline Personality Disorder and Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder as well as other complex or enduring mental health conditions.

  • Working with anxiety, stress and depression.

Whatever it is that might be troubling you or that you would like to explore, I offer a warm, empathetic space where you will be met with compassion and curiosity.
